TUMS don't cure contractions

So we just got back from our weekly trip to HEB. Jake has had to come with me the past few weeks as it has become quite the chore for me. He hates the grocery store... one of his most despised chores (kind of how I feel about mowing the lawn). But he has had a great attitude about it and has been extremely helpful. As soon as we got there, I started feeling some sharp pains in my stomach. Felt just like indigestion, so Jake went and got me some TUMS. Yeah... TUMS don't cure contractions. (Don't worry, Mom- they were mild and over by the time I got home.) Everyone in HEB seemed to take BIG steps to get out of my way as I came down the aisles. Like I had the plague or something. I love the little toddlers who point to my belly and say, "Look, Mommy! Baby!" The moms look all embarrassed, then quickly move like I'm going into labor any second and they don't want to be in the same aisle as me when it happens. Maybe I should just stay in my house the next 4 weeks so as not to worry the community. :)

Nice! Well put. I can totally see Jake grasping at straws and handing you Tums. "uh here.... this will work" ya, not so much. :) You are almost there!

yeah, people go out of their way to avoid getting in yours when you are that pregnant. It used to annoy me, but now that he's in a stroller, people go out of their way to cut us off... I'm missing the deferential treatment a little :)
